The goal of this program is to detect and deter crime through the joint effort of the Giddings Police Department and the citizens we serve.  Here is how the program works:

1. Completely voluntary without obligation to provide video/audio recording.

2. Evidence provided by participants can be used for any stage of criminal proceedings.

3. Participant information and evidence provided will be used for official purposes only.

4. Participants will be contacted directly by Giddings PD to request evidence.

5. Participants will not be considered an agent and/or an employee of Giddings PD.

6. Giddings PD will not have live/direct access to participants security camera systems.
