  • Flexible 12-hour shifts. Shifts,  6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am, including holidays and weekends.

  • No experience required.

  • $14.66/hr and includes benefits such as retirement and vacation/sick leave.

The Giddings Police Department

is currently FULL STAFFED for police officer positions.

Experience preferred but not necessary. Must be TCOLE certified.

Salary commensurate with experience ($41K-$50K).


Salary plus City paid Academy training if you meet qualifications

Giddings Police Department offers full time employees:
  • Competitive salary

NOTE: Officers are required to live within 30 minutes or 30 miles of the police station.
